Hi all,
when I signed up for Virgin Media, it said the service was available at my house. When the box came, the guide has said to screw the cable into the VM wall socket but the problem is I don’t have one. Is there a way they can come out and install one?

Well at least you have a working connection!
Yes, you'll have to wait a few days for a response on here.

Are you sure there isn't a coax cable? It doesn't need to be a VM wall box. It could be Telewest, for example.
Trace where the outside wall box is to where the coax enters your home.

Hi Carl,
thank you for your reply.
I’ve checked in the house there isn’t a wall socket with a screw on for the cable. It’s located outside. I’ve tried connecting it and it all works fine. But it looks messy and can’t keep window open all the time. Could they install a cable coming from outside into the house and connect it like that?

Temporarily I do. It keeps disconnecting.
