My dad had a quick start box but there is no wall box just a split wire The piece that goes into the router is screw in and should be push on . I have looked but cannot see how to get an engineer any advice would be gratefully received please
The wire you have should just screw into the back of the hub directly. However, the cable is like this as somebody has removed the safety isolator that your quick start plugs into.
You can use the wire directly connected temporarily, but I would get a proper isolated socket fitted ASAP.
Ring the pre-installs team on 0800 052 1734 & they can arrange a manned install to sort this correctly.
