No virgin media wall socket

I've recently moved into a rental property and thought I was being prepared by setting up the Wi-Fi in advance. Turns out, the house only has an Openreach master socket and because it's a rental we can't get an engineer in to install a Virgin one. I've looked for an external box but cannot find anything.

Is there anything I can do or will I just have to bite the bullet and switch internet providers?

You cannot get VM services via an Openreach connection. So unless the landlord allows VM to cable the property you will have to look elsewhere.
