No router

So I have recently joined virgin media, on Monday the engineer came to install my broadband, he put the cable where I needed it which was great! However he didn't have a router and it's nigh on impossible to get through to anyone to help sort this out!!!! Is there an easy was to get in touch?? Tried all sorts from messaging to Twitter to phone where I get cut off?

Call in at 08.00 to get through to VM without long wait times and see what they say

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired 2 WiFi,) SH2 in modem mode with Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On VIVID200, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.
