No power on router

So I have no lights coming on my router at all, I have tried unplugging it leaving it off for while but still no lights at all , on my router it looks like it's had it, I phoned virgin and they said the earliest  they can come is Wednesday the 9 which I am appalled by as thst seems a very long time, 6 days. I tried looking on the appointments page for technicians to see if there is any earlier time but can't seem to find the appointment page, I really would like someone out earlier than 6 days is there anyone who can help from virgin please

It takes 2 to 3 days for a VM staff member to get to your post and then they would just order a technician’s visit as you have done on the phone and it may even be later than the one you booked. You have a residential contract and there is no SLA, so problem fixing is on a best endeavours basis.

Not great service from virgin,  who I have been with for over 20 years, I have decided to go elce where now with my phone as signal in the house using data is very very poor, I might look at  broadband as well.

Hi there @Tony24

Thank you so much for your post and welcome back to the forums.

I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue and that you have had to wait for an appointment.

We always try to book the soonest appointment we can for our customers, but this can be delayed due to availability.

I have checked and I cannot see that a sooner appointment is available. If our teams are able to offer an earlier appointment then we will text you to do so.

Thank you.

Thankyou for replying and looking for me 👍
