Trying to set up but no virgin wall socket, there is a telewest broadband socket which fits the wire but all I'm getting is a green flashing light so I don't think it's working.

Tried to make an appointment for a technician but after pressing confirm it just said it couldn't run a test on my services.

Have you tried calling the activation number 0800 953 9500?

If that doesn't help, you may need a tech visit if your connection is disconnected somewhere between your home and the street cabinet.
