When we bought the VirginMedia plan, we were told our flat is serviced by VirginMedia but when the self-installation kit arrived we realised we do not have a VirginMedia wall socket. Please organise an engineer as soon as possible as it is practically impossible to receive data connection within our flat and we urgently need connection to our flat. Thanks!

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community, I am sorry for the self-install issue with the wall socket being missing. I fully appreciate the frustration this would cause. I can see that since posting, you've spoke to the team and got a visit booked in for a conversion (engineer install).
