No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

Hi, anyone able to assist with Router issues

I have frequent drops on my internet connection, and have now seen in the router logs multiple entries of : "No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out;CM-MAC= ..."

This has been going on a while now.

Thank you in advance.

Re: No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

A few "No ranging response received" are common but too many can cause issues.

Can you post the Upstream and Downstream tabs and the rest of the status tab? Paste them as text as images need to be approved.

Re: No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

Your downstream power levels are marginally too high, this could cause connection drops. You need to ring customer services and request an engineer. You may need to moved onto a different tap in the cabinet or have an attenuator fitted.

Ensure you reboot the router and have checked the connections are tight before ringing otherwise that's the first thing they'll tell you to do. Ring at 8am if possible for the shortest call queue.
