New joiner - flashing light

I received my first hub with Virgin today, and am a new customer.

I've followed all of set up steps, and used some of the helpful tips suggested, but my hub hasn't moved past the stage of the base light flashing green and I havent been able to access the Internet with it at all.

Each time I've tried to turn it off and on again, or reset it, I've given it at least 2 hours to try to connect, but nothing is working.

Did you call the Activation number in the instructions?  It won't work until you do.

Hi Steven,

 

Yes, I called up on Saturday and had an engineer out on Tuesday. Apparently, something was unplugged externally, further down the road!
