New installation; running cable overground

Hi, having VM installed next week. The cable will be run from the verge behind my property into my back garden along one side of the garden to the property.

i don’t think they will be able to bury it.

it will probably run close to a fence line.

i presume it will be in that bright green sheath.

my question is whether that is robust enough to avoid animals biting the cable?

it will largely be hidden behind hedge and sheds

Re: New installation; running cable overground

who owns the verge behind your property

VM will normally berry it or tack it to a dance. They won't' normally just lay it in the ground.

Re: New installation; running cable overground

The VM team have already run the cable to the rear of my property boundary. All underground.

Im talking about the next team who will be running the cable from my boundary to my house.
