No. It’s go gigabit or by special invitation by email.

Re: New hub.

Unless you need the 1G connection the Hub4 seems to be no better than the Hub3, many reports on the board that the WiFi is no better and that’s what most people want/expect.

Re: New hub.

VM makes the older hub look better then newer hub...thats one way of stopping people asking for a new hub because its shiny and must be better.

That isn't stopping lots of people asking for a Hub 4.  Poor, mad, misguided fools!  Then again, the early adopters and FOMO sufferers are welcome to test it out so that the many bugs and problems can be ironed out before it's foisted on the rest of us.

Re: New hub.

The only thing I want from VM is a modem, the hub3 fits that requirement quite nicely. Well, until my area goes docsis3.1, then I guess they'll be wanting me to move to the hub4, and as long as it supports modem only mode I'll be happy to move then. I see no point to move until the network has been updated.

At the moment they won't let you have a Hub 4 until the area is on D3.1  Even when it is, there will be no performance difference to a Hub 3 unless the area is over-utilised.

Why the hub 4 is backwards compatible with D3 no reason to wait for D3.1.
