New customer to Wi-Fi in general. Struggling with Hub 3 setup

Hi, I’ve never done Virgin Media wifi before and was wondering if I could get some help. I don’t have the virgin media internet adapter like on the box. I have an old Telewest connection. Am I able to disconnect this cable and plug in? Any advice welcome. Thank you

I have pictures of my connection (old testwest). Any advice on how to connect my Hub 3 is greatly appreciated.

If you have an old Telewest box, there should be one or two threaded F sockets on the bottom, if it’s one use this, if it’s two use the one marked TV, I think it’s the left one. The new cable from the hub should just push onto this socket. If there is already a wire one the socket, it will need unscrewing first.
