New customer - connection to home

Hi everyone,

I've bought M500 broadband, with an installation date down as 20/08/2022. The property I live at will require some external work. It's a new build with no previous VM connection. The property is rented, and depending on the work required, I may need confirmation from the landlord.

How can I book a pre-installation visit from VM, to explain what needs to be done to connect me? I've struggled to find information on this anywhere? Thank you for your help

Thank you for your post and welcome to our community. 

 

A pre visit is usually done as standard however this is to check the external network and not something the customer needs to be home for.

 

If you would like a visit to speak with the engineer's to get an understanding of what needs to be done, I can speak to the area manager to see if this is something they can arrange for you.
