Hi I have just moved into a newbuild house. My landlord has told me there is BT lines into the building but I can go with whichever provider. I have opted to go with Virgin for obvious reasons. but now my concern is will there be digging need to be done to install broadband or how can I find this out? And what will the engineer be doing when they call on Wednesday? Thanks

Virgin don't use the BT cables. They put their own cable in from the street, by whatever route is most practical, and then run a wire into your flat.

You will have to get the landlord's permission in writing for this to happen.

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.
