I have moved into a new build home and the house comes with internal VM ports. Yet, when I enter my post code the house isn’t eligible for VM? How long will I have to wait? I need broadband in my home for work. Openreach came round today to activate something, not sure if that’s something or nothing?

You have the internal VM connections as these were put in by the builders. So either VMs side hasn't been completed, or if its a standalone new build it will need adding to the database. In the latter case VM can send a spotter out to asses the alterations (if any) required to the street ducting.
