New broadband

I got virgin broadband installed today while I was out at work. The hub has the solid light on to show it has power but there’s no WiFi. I’ve tried turning off and on and doesn’t improve!

how long should it take before the WiFi is up and running?

Hi, try doing a pinhole reset.  Hold the reset button on the back of the hub for 20 seconds then release for 5 seconds.  Repeat this 3 times and then wait 15mins for it to load up.

If you connect an Ethernet cable into the Router, does that work? Is the internet working through that method? If so, refer to the comment above mine and that should 'hopefully' fix the issue.

Unfortunately didn’t work. Does it usually take a period of time for it to be connected? As I wasn’t there when the engineer came around I couldn’t ask. But the friend who was in said the engineer thought it would be on in a couple of hours...?
The neighbours downstairs have previously had virgin WiFi so the issue can’t be the box..

All sorted. Hasn’t been fully completed on Virgin’s end. Needed serial code added on.
