New Wifi Box to Another Address

Is it possible when signing up to Virgin media to send it the wifi box to a different address (not the one that has been initially given to Virgin Media)?

We want to receive the box before moving into our new address as we don’t want to risk the box not turning up and then we don’t have wifi. Will this create confusion? Has anyone else done this or know of anyone that has?

It's worth mentioning that this will only work if you are having a self-install installation, which means there is an existing Virginmedia connection there. If there isn't already a VM socket then a technician installation will be needed and they will bring the equipment.

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.

Hi @libbyi32

thank you for reaching out to us here, welcome to the community.

It is fantastic that you are considering joining us and I can confirm that we can send your equipment to a separate address to where the service will be provided. I am more than happy to help you achieve this if you would like? I will send you a private message if that’s okay and pick this up from there.

thank you

Jon
