New TiVo box - self install

I’ve setup and all powered , but it’s been on so few nearly 90 mins downloading the software and switching on / off downloading- 

Is it meant to take this long ??

Is it a Tivo or a V6. Did you have to do anything to "activate" it - or was it pre-activated?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired 2 WiFi,) SH2 in modem mode with Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On VIVID200, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

And has it been activated by VM to your account? If it hasn't it will never work.

Give it another 30 minutes and if it isn't working give it a reboot using this method ...

Switch the V6 off using the small switch on the rear of the V6 next to the power cord and pull the PSU plug from the wall socket.

Give it a good 5 minutes put the plug back in and switch the V6 back on.

Allow the V6 a few minutes to fully restart then check again

It needs to be powered up and connected and to the home page before they activate it , I’ve called the activation lime and as it’s a self install it says it needs to be plugged in and powered before we can activate it
