Hello installed a new hub 4 . We have wifi working and Ethernet connection to PlayStation 5 is working. But if I go on the virgin connection app it says hun not found , also phoned virgin and an automated voice told me same. anyone any idea what problem is.
Also there was a forward path attenuator 6db at the end of socket that goes into the hun . Is this needed?
And do I have to plug my house phone into the hub ? As it’s working in the original wall socket ( also I’d need some sort of adapter to make it fit hub)

The HUB 4 doesn't currently work with the app, unless you are using an iPhone.
Leave the attenuator as is.
Again if your phone is still working leave as is.

Hello yes I’m using an iPhone, kind of strange as the paperwork that came with the hun says download the app ,(which I already had) .

Maybe the latest version of the app hasn't been rolled out yet.
The HUB 4 hasn't worked with the app for years, however it's been mentioned that someone got it working with an iPhone...

PS If you previously had your landline as a real landline, it will continue to work that way until your segment gets converted to using IP (connecting via the Hub).

If you have the previous version you will need to remove the stored cloud version and download the latest version from the App Store.
