New Account for Dad (70)

Hi 

My Dad (70) has just received his kit to have Virgin again.  He has connected this up however cannot get it to work.  When I log on to his myvirginmedia and run a service check it says there is an account problem?  Can anyone help or look into this?  He has tried to call to get this sorted but gets a message to do this online and is then disconnected!

He did as far as I know (I may have been misled though :-)).  He spoke to someone yesterday who did something which could take up to 24 hrs so I think he has by the sound of it.

activate wouldn't take 24 hours.

Nothing would take 24 hours to set up so that might of been a lie to get him off the phone.

Ok - do you know what number you call to activate the service as I might give them another go.
