Network issues

Hi all,

I am also having broadband issues for the past few weeks - frequent drop outs, low speeds. I have already tried rebooting the hub, checked the cables - but no luck with resolution. I have also attached the logs here (1/2):

Your BQM link isn't working ...

Instructions for posting BQM Link

Under your BQM graph are two links in red.

Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then click generate.

Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see.

On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon)

In the URL box paste the link you copied and in the ‘text to display’ box write My BQM then click OK - you can post the link straight away.

Are you having these problems with ethernet cable connected devices or Wi-Fi connected devices.

That is looking very much like a utilisation issue.

 

Phone it in as a slow and intermittent connection.

You can either phone in (08:00 is the best time) or wait on here for a few days (6 to 7 days average) until one of the VM Forum Staff comes along.

If you wait on here Do Not bump the thread it will put it further down the VM 'to do list'.

I have updated the BQM link - hopefully that works. I also attach some of the screenshots from the last few days.

Most of my devices are wireless, but I have tried with ethernet cable as well - its difficult to check if there is an issue, as its intermittent. Speeds are lower though across all devices (maxing around 20mbps, sometimes its closer to 1-5mpbs on downstream ; and 4-5max upload sometimes but usually much lower at 0.2-1.0mbps

Thanks - i have tried calling losing the will eventually yesterday. Will try again at 8am!

Sorry to be naive, but what do you mean by "utilisation issue" ?

Aah - got it. Thats surprising - everything was pretty decent (i could get wifi speeds of 70-100mbps most of the time) until about a month or so back, when problems started and it seems to be getting more frequent off late. I even find issues some times late at night and even past mid-night.
