I’ve had a Hub 3 installed in my house but the cable isn’t long enough for where I’d like to put the Hub. I’ve been told by Virgin that i need to buy myself a cable, not something they provide. What is the right cable needed?
been given totally wrong info, since using 3rd party cables can cause more problems than good, since adding more cabling can greatly unbalance the signal levels and bring noise into network (very bad), if this is a recent install might be able to get a tech out for around £30, or the full price of £99.
since it's also against the terms and conditions to add own cabling, if caught could be billed the costs of repair, which is a lot more than £99, i would get back onto customer services
