Hi ya need help, got a new replacement for my tv cable box (as previous one had packed up) but I was never sent a code via text to activate it. I was also told I would be emailed instructions on how to transfer over my recordings from my old one to my new one.
You should have paperwork with the new box giving you a number to phone. Your account will already have the details of the new box.
You cannot transfer recordings from one box to another, only series links. The next generation of boxes/firmware will likely store recordings in the cloud, so that you don’t lose them when you change boxes, as is currently the case.
