Hi

I’m trying to get in touch with Virgin to book a technician so I can move my broadband and TV into a different room of the house (due to having building work done and changing room layout). Struggling to find the correct option when I ring Virgin. Can anyone please help?

 Thanks

Also. I would just add that I’ve just been kept on hold for almost an hour while somebody has told me they are going to book an appointment for a technician for me to relocate equipment to another room. When I finally gave up and put the phone down they rang me back and said they’ll call me back when they have an appointment sorted (I doubt I’ll be hearing from them). Why couldn’t they have suggested that right at the start if busy?!! Absolutely appalling customer service! I think I’m actually just going to cancel with Virgin now as I’m paying a lot of money a month. Really poor and not happy.

Hi afirmin1,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

We're sorry to hear you've been having an issue booking an appointment to have your equipment relocated. This is certainly something we can organise for you but you should be aware, there is a £25 charge.

I just need to confirm the address to ensure we are booking the visit on the correct account. I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊

Thanks,

Hi afirmin1,

Thanks for sticking with me via private message on this one.

As already mentioned, I have booked you in for the appointment and sent you details of the appointment via direct message.

Please ensure there is someone over the age of 18 present at the time of the visit. If you need to change or cancel your appointment you can do this by replying directly to the direct message and we can support you further. If you do miss an agreed appointment for any reason, a £25 missed appointment charge will be applied to your account on the day of the appointment.

Let us know how the appointment goes. 😊

Take care.
