Hi I’ve been looking for help I have just signed up to virgin media broadband and it was quick start set up but after it got delivered last night I noticed there is no wall socket in my house for virgin I wonder if there is a way to book an engineer without calling as current work during the day and tried the message system but were no help

There is a separate number for this call pre-installs team on 0800 052 1734 8AM- 9PM Monday - Friday or 8AM-6PM Saturday and Sunday. A VM staff member will not get to your post for 2 or 3 days.

I'm sorry to hear your home has no sockets inside.
May I ask if you were able to follow @Tudor advice and contact the pre-installs team and book in an engineer for your socket?
