Hello
My house is in the corner of a cul de sac in Broadstairs- all the other properties ( all detached) are supplied including both houses at the side and in front of mine, but a street connection box was not laid to ours when it was supplied to the rest of the road. The neighbouring connections are within 3-4 metres of my house. Is there any possibility of Virgin rectifying this. The postcode is CT10 1RX, you will see from the postcode checker only one house number is missing! Thanks Cliff

At a guess with the narrow trenches it looks like this is a Project Lightning area using direct-buried microducts, so there's no option to add another tee for a new connection. There have been cases reported in this forum where someone has FTTP from VM installed this way, their microduct becomes damaged and there is no way to fix it so the property is marked unserviceable.

Thank you- the drive is not shared but the complete access way does belong to my house, so I guess it’s simply that the previous owner didn’t agree installing the tee- surely simple to resolve but difficult to know who to contact at VM

There is no direct contact within Virgin. You'll have to wait for a staff member to pick this up and offer to help. But be prepared for disappointment, this may not be as easy as you think.
If you already have an Openreach connection (BT, Sky etc) this will be due for upgrading to full fibre at some point. You can check your postcode at the Openreach website.

thanks for taking the time to reply, I will check that. Sadly I am under no illusion it will be easy, hence the post, so difficult to speak to the right person in big companies , its so near and yet so far!!

Virgin will judge it purely on the cost of making the connection, which can be hundreds of pounds if much digging is involved. If they can't be sure of getting their money back from your contract they won't bother.
