My broadband box

We signed up with virgin trying to activate the broadband after initial setup of box light stays red started diagnostics through 192.168.0.1 and shows no RF signal, went outside to check the external box the neighbours cable runs from my box as it looks in picture my side is disconnected can I just switch these around my neighbour also has the exact same external box about a ft away from ours

Do not tamper with anything, call VM and a tech will be sent round to get you connected. It won't cost you.
