Moving my co ax point from one room to another

Hi,

Currently have my VM Hub 3 setup in my bedroom. I have just signed up to an upgrade where I get tv aswell as broadband.

My connection point is in the bedroom, however with the TV box coming I'd like to move my connection in to the living room.

Is this something I can do myself or do I need an engineer to come out?

Any help greatly appreciated

Hi @nuggs

You would need a connection point fitting in the living room. It would need an engineer/tech to do this for you as they need to check the signal levels, also you can only use VM cabling.

There's a £25 fee for doing this.

You can call in and book this, ot wait a couple of days for a member of the forum team to pick this up for you.

If you call & ask for a tech assisted install the callout should be free as it is for connection of new equipment.

Hi nuggs,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum. It's great having you on board with us in the Community.

As mentioned above, we would need to relocate the box however the £25 charge would stand.

I have tried to check to see if this has been booked for you but I've not been able to locate you on our systems.  I will need to confirm some information with you in order for me to proceed with booking the visit. I have sent you a private message regarding this. Just click on the little plum envelope at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox.

Thanks,
