Moving into a Flat

Hi All,

Currently moving to a new address, The Live Chat said the flat has Virgin but it had been "Decommissioned" and I would need to get a engineer to look.

I looked on the address checker and the flat below has Virgin, It is only 3 stories so I am wondering what is the likeliness of me being able to get Virgin Internet?

Re: Moving into a Flat

Why don't you at least ask? If a previous occupant had a connection the cables may still be there.

Re: Moving into a Flat

If VM served the flat the socket may still be there, it would be from Virgin Media or one of its predecessor companies such as NTL or Telewest.

Re: Moving into a Flat

Hi, After investigation with the Landlord/Estate Agents and current tenants. The flat does have a VM connection but VM are still saying there is an issue with the line. The 2 flats below have it and the current tenants had VM last year....

VM not Avail in my Flat

So, I just moved in now to the flat and I am on the 2nd floor. My flat entrance is on the 1st floor.

Virgin Media have said they would have to send an engineer out to see if they could provide VM. As the current line is not "Active", anyone got any ideas on how long this could take?

Want to get Virgin ASAP really... 😞
