Moving home, flat is not servicable but other flats in the house are.

As the title suggests, I am moving out to a new flat soon, and would like to take my virgin contract with me, however the postcode checker says that the flat is not servicable, but the other 2 flats in the house are and can get a connection.

I have tried to contact customer services about this but I got nowhere and just kept going in circles.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Moving home, flat is not servicable but other flats in the house are.

Good morning @pmalec98

Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post.

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your new flat being listed for services.

A quick question if you don't mind, when you move into your new flat will you be the owner or will it be rented?

Kind regards,

Zak_M

Re: Moving home, flat is not servicable but other flats in the house are.

Hello pmalec98

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

The address is not one we can service

It would cost too much to run a new cable

The work required outside would need permission from the local authorities

That can take up to 8 weeks, Possibly longer as its a busy street as well

Sadly its not possible

I wish you all the best with the move and your new provider
