Moved home and decided to start with Virgin as previous owners had it. Quickstart Setup was (thankfully) a breeze and aside from a very frustrating package delivery delay we've had no issues.
However, as we're getting used to this house we're finding that it has some oddities in how the Virgin media cabling was done. We have a box on the side of our house but then we've also found today another damaged box with the cabling exposed. There is also a lot of mysterious (and possibly redundant) networking and coaxial cabling in the house.
How do we get someone out to fix this? Is there any way to do it without sitting on the phone for hours and hours?
Hi in regards to this the cabling used is actually wrong and needs to be replaced that white cable should only be used inside as its not shielded. Try calling at 8AM any day but preferably in the week as its quicker service.
