Missing virgin media wall socket

I have just moved in a new property and got the self install package. However there does not seem to be any socket to install the round plug in. I have attached photos of the plugs in the house.

Thank you for your help

The photos just show a generic TV aerial socket and generic telephone socket.

Do you have a plastic VM omnibox on a wall outside the property where the VM cable comes in from the street? If so, can you trace any cables from that which enter your home?

Sometimes VM cables are cut and removed by previous occupiers. Sometimes no wall box is present but the connection is made via a trailing lead from the omnibox outside.

If you don't have any existing connections, you'll need to request a VM technician installation to fit one.

Hi Bubbinski,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. It's great having you on board with us in the Community.

We're sorry to hear it looks as though you have no socket to complete the self installation.

We can change this to a manned install for you however will need to confirm some details with you. I have sent you a private message regarding this. Just click on the little plum envelope at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox.

Thanks,
