Missing items

I recieved virgin media broadband on the 12th, and it turned up with no power adapter. I have called the call centre several times each time they tell me "we will send one out, you will receive a text from yodel about your delivery" . It's been almost two weeks now, I am due to start a work from home job that requires a stable internet connection and I can't do that if I don't have the power lead to turn on my broadband!! Why will no one send me the lead????? Why do the customer service agents on the phone tell me that they have sent one when they clearly aren't sending any...
