The cover is missing from a small access hole in the pavement outside my house. The hole is dangerous to pedestrians, who might easily break an ankle. Can you action a replacement ASAP please.

The missing CATV cover for this small access hole has left a dangerous situation for pedestrians outside my home. Please can you organise a replacement, or tell me how I can make it safe. For example, can I fill it with gravel, so someone doesn’t break a leg walking along the pavement?

It would help if you said where it was.

Okay, it’s in Norwich.

Well I doubt Virginmedia will be driving round every road in Norwich looking for an open access hole.
If you are shy about the location you'll have to wait for a staff member to pick this up and send you a private message. Alternatively if it's in a public footpath your local council may respond more quickly.

I didn’t realise it was acceptable to put addresses on these forums. I haven’t seen that personally. And wouldn’t VM get in touch for details before turning up? I’m new to this, so excuse my naivety.
I have contacted my local council, a month ago, and no action so far.

Certainly don't post your address, but the postcode or even just the road name would be helpful and is not giving too much away.

Okay. It’s in Bluebell Road, Eaton, NR4. Thanks for your advice.
