New to Virgin here. Signed up for a virgin broadband package.
Last week I had a virgin engineer come out for a survey to find out where they can run cable around my home etc. The same day Avonline networks tuned up. Looked at the path and then got back in the van and left.
I had an appointment in my account for the 3rd which I came to realise was for a pre pull. Yesterday happened they turned up looked at the path and took off.
I phoned the pre install team last night. No notes on the account. Give my number so they can give me updates
I now have an order in my account for the 4th (today.
My engineer installation is due on the 11th. The same day my other broadband will cease.
just un nerving. Don’t want to be left without broadband. What can I do. Any transparency here?

Solved. All fitted in first visit. Now just need the second engineer which Is scheduled for the 11th

You'd be well advised to extend your existing broadband contract until the Virgin connection is in and working.
