MULTIROOM

Hi,  Currently have Sky multi room (4 rooms) and looking to move to Virgin.

I have read that I can have 4 boxes but do not want cables running around the house.

I heard that you can connect the boxes using POWERLINE connectors.

How have other people connected multi boxes around the house ?

Re: MULTIROOM

Hi @COLINDUGGAN

No they don't work with out the coaxial cable unfortunately as this carries the signal

We use white coaxial cable internally so it can be quite discreet when tacked into the skirting board. Would you like for me to arrange you a site survey prior to you getting an install so you could run through cable routing with one of our technicians?

Thanks

Christy

Re: MULTIROOM

Hi.

The powerline adapters are used to provide an etherneted connection to the set top box.

Re: MULTIROOM

its right you can use powerline for the network part of the connection but you MUST also have a coax connection

All boxes are broadcast receivers, so have to be connected to the coax cable to receive live channels. The Ethernet connection is for inter-box streaming, apps & updates only.
