Hi,
I’m moving to a new place and I’m unsure whether I need to book an engineer for the connection or if I’m able to reconnect it myself.
I’ve dropped a picture below of the existing set up in the house.
if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

I don't see any photo attached?
However, VM will only supply Quickstart kits to properties that had VM installed previously. However, on occasions, a manned install is still needed, as sometimes the cables have been disconnected etc. You will not know until your kit arrives and you install. If this is the case, call the pre-installs team on 0800 052 1734 8AM- 9PM Monday - Friday or 8AM-6PM Saturday and Sunday and explain your situation.

You would connect to the large Telewest box on the RHS of your photo.
You could unscrew the connector on the bottom of the box and connect there if you only need to connect the hub.
But there also appears to be a splitter and some other connection points/cable underneath which may provide further connections for other items of equipment or different locations in your home.
