This afternoon, 27 June 2020 my broadband and TV went down here in the NE4 area of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Is there any more information and a realistic estimate of when it will be fixed. I work from home so need access to the internet. I am also meant to be hosting a Zoom church meeting tomorrow morning.

have you logged into MY Virgin Media to check for any local faults? You can also run a test from there.
You could try the Service Status number 0800 561 0061. This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.
I've checked Virgin's outage page and, "There are no large scale network outages we're currently aware of"
