Loss of internet Rg2 Reading

Hi, Have lost service completely,

Have tried all the usual things like leaving the hub 3.0 off for 15mins and checking cables inside and out but have no downstream or upstream channels at all , and network access says Blocked.

Virgin test says I have no internet but won't let me book an appointment as there are no available slots online.

Any help from the team on here would be great. Thank you.

As well as trying the “check service,” weblink (at the top of this forum board), there is also a Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually tells you of more local issues down to postcode level (that might even not yet be listed on the Service Status web page) - that may give you more info.
If nothing shows on there call it in and see what they say when they test your connection and if possible, get a fault reference number.

They wont book engineer visits whilst there is a "known fault" affecting your service.

A VM mod will be able to help - but they can take a day or two to respond on here.

Hi, Thank you both for the super quick replys,

Martin, I haven't had any notification at all, To be honest we never do here, have seen virgin working at the boxes before for hours and we have no internet yet we never get told.

It's currently still down and finding no channels at all which I've never seen happen before.

Just called the Service Status number but it says there are no issues in my area. So must be just me.

Hi, so sorry for the late reply got caught up in Christmas! :-), It turned out virgin was working on the box at the end of our road, As usual no letters to say this was happening,
