Loss of connection several times a day

Hi, I've started a new topic as the last one was a bit of a mess.

I keep losing my internet connection, which started at the beginning of December, but is now getting more regular with it cutting out several times a day.

I've connected to the modem and it's showing a number of issues (although it should be noted that not every disconnect is logged);

- DHCP RENEW

- DHCP REBINDING WARNING

- No Ranging Response received

- RCS Partial Service

The upstream and downstream appear to lock ok once they get a WAN IP, so I'm guessing it's a signal strength issue. I've pasted in the router info (below) and have partially deleted the MAC addresses.I'll add in the Up and Downstream data in another post (character limit reached)

Would someone be able to assist on here please?

Cheers,

Dan

Re: Loss of connection several times a day

Wired or wireless dropping out ?  Also the DHCP RENEW & REBIND are not a fault, that's just normal.  The rest of the power levels look fine.

Setup a TBB monitor here   www.thinkbroadband.com/ping  and post back the results

Re: Loss of connection several times a day

Thanks for your reply.

its the internet connection, so both wired and wireless. The router says that WAN DCHP isn’t assigning an IP address when there’s a disconnect.

ill take a look at that link now.

Re: Loss of connection several times a day

The BQM will prove whether there are problems on your network connection - all disconnections will show as vertical red bars.

Re: Loss of connection several times a day

That's exactly what you want to see, evidence. Now you should be able to get an engineer out to check the circuit.
