LANDLINE PHONE TO HUB 3.0 ISSUE

Hi.

Recently moved house, have connected up everything exactly as was but there's no dialing tone - any ideas or suggestions please?

If you log into the VM hub, what does it indicate for telephony on the 'Welcome' page?

No, using a web browser on your network via http://192.168.0.1 (assuming you are in router mode)

On the welcome screen after login it should look something like this

https://setuprouter.com/router/virgin-media/virgin-media-hub-3/setup-75194-large.htm

check and see if telephony is 'ready' (indicating that the TEL1 socket on the back of the hub has been provisioned for your phone service)

Yep, got all that - no sign of any connection beyond the Ready status though, no green phone symbol on the hub either.

Lo and behold - it's suddenly started to work!

Don't ask me how, but something triggered it just.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers.

Suspect it was probably the hub had to be powered on for a certain period of time, or something similar. Anyway, glad to hear it has come to life for you.
