Re: Keep loosing connection

Often an easily resolved upstream noise or power issue.  Go back to the status page where you got those two entries from, and copy and paste in the same way all of the Network log, and then in separate posts the contents of the two other tabs titled Downstream and Upstream, and we can have a gander for obvious problems.

Re: Keep loosing connection

When was the last time you rebooted your router?

Please do this to zero those number and then post back in a few hours after a few disconnections so we can see how quickly they count up again.

Re: Keep loosing connection

If it was rebooted yesterday then you definitely have some noise on the line which would require further investigation. VM staff should check this post eventually and confirm the diagnosis and maybe even book an engineer for you (unless it's a area-wide issue, have you checked for known network faults?)

Re: Keep loosing connection

I've flagged your post for staff to take a look and advise - could be an area fault, or unique to you connection.  If the latter they'll arrange a technician for you

Re: Keep loosing connection

great ta.

hopefully they can also sort out the other modem fault in that its 2.4g wifi wont stay off. theyve admitted fault already. but its seems bad firmware.

It ws suggested i use modem mode, but thats no good, as i use the 5g, and my own 2.4g is wired at rear of house. theres enuf 2.4g around me, hence keeping hub 2.4 off. yet it wont stay off.
