Keep being asked for my old Router back but.....

I have had my router changed from a 4 to 5 I think and the engineer took my old router with him, the system as not picked up on this and I am getting constantly asked to arrange a collection. I am at a loss of who to speak to as the system is designed to deal with a fault not an amendment can someone let me know to whom I need to speak.

Sorry to hear you're getting asked to return equipment which you no longer have. 

How are you being contacted for this and does the communication say that it's just a router and not any other equipment that may have been removed/disconnected in any recent package changes you've had in the last few months?
