Just got a Hub 4, power supply cable doesn't fit

Hi all, as topic, I've just upgraded to Gig1 from the old M350. As a result, I've got the Hub 4.

Unfortunately, my excitement has turned to dust when I couldn't even plug in the new power supply to the Hub 4! It just will not fit and the port on the hub appears larger than the receptacle on the power supply side of things.

Help!

Both the Hub's power port and the power brick's connectors are female.

not sure what you mean the DC adapter is a male connection. Post a picture of what you have

From the pic it dose not look like it will fit.

Indeed, both receptacles are female, and the diameter of both are roughly the same.

It looks about right to me.

1 goes into 2,

3 goes into 4,

5 goes into 6.

Although it looks like there is a blob of Blu Tack in the hub socket.
