Hi, so my new router came yesterday and it’s not compatible with my current mains plug in.
so I found a number to phone virgin media and I booked in an engineer however I’m worried it wasn’t a legit number and my app hasn’t been updated to say about my appointment .
The number was 0800 052 1734

This is the correct number for the pre-install teams. Pre-installs are done by third party contractors who do all the external works. The internals are then completed by Virgin employed techs, & this is the appointment you should eventually see.
