Issue upgrading superhub - White cable stuck in old hub

Hi guys,

So have received a superhub 3 to replace the old 2ac. When have tried to take the white coaxial cable out the back of the old hub i cant get it to unscrew with the provided spanner, the spanner seems to not be able to get a tight enough grip or the cable is just so tightly in hub that it wont come undone. Dont want to try and use pliers for risk of damaging the cable.

Any suggestions? Will this need an engineer visit to replace it?

Typically over time, these cables do indeed get very "secure".

In the past I have managed to coax them away from the connection by way of a decent set of pliers, but making sure that I didn't place too great a force on the metal collar.

I'm sure that doing so would be fine in this instance.  Those little plastic spanners are pretty useless to be fair.
