Internet suddenly stopped - flashing green power light?!

Hi,

Last night my internet literally just dropped out without warning, and will not come back on again despite multiple hub reboots and a factory reset. I've not touched any hardware so it's not loose connections or anything, and nothing is reported in my area. The engineer is due on Monday, but is there anything else I can try before then? I assume that the hub has broken - only been with Virgin a month 😞

unlikely t be the hub although possible - more likely an external fault - the status page is for major outages

if you have checked all the cables and connection back to the external box theres nothing else you can do but wait until monday - that said it may just start working - worth doing a reboot every now and then - may do nothing but nothing lost

As Tony says the status page usually covers "Area" issues - for more local issues down to postcode level its worth trying the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - see if anything is reported there.
