Internet keeps disconnecting

For the past few weeks, my internet has been disconnecting. It started on the mobile devices in my house and I've since been having issues with me desktop which is connected through ethernet.

Every 45/60 minutes my desktop gets disconnected then reconnects straight away but it causes me to loose connection to works VPN and lose any internet page I have open.

I've spoken to Virgin Media and he done some investigating, came back and said he would escalate to the technical team to investigate and I should expect a call back. The next day comes along and I didn't get a phone call but instead a text saying my issue has been resolved.

Long story short, my issue wasn't resolved. In fact, it's now worse! It's now disconnecting every 10/15 minutes. Please could someone help!?
