Intermittent connection - No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

Hi,

I have tried multiple solutions, reloading/restarting and resetting the HUB, fixing the WIFI channels, setting channels back to AUTO etc none of them seem to work, I still get intermittent connection while streaming on the TV or a tunein radio from my cell phone both using WiFi connection. Could anyone have a look please and advise? More details below

Re: Intermittent connection - No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

Hi BeeWhy,

Thanks for posting and welcome to our community 🙂

I'm sorry for the late reply, and to hear you're having some issues with the WiFi connection.

I've been able to locate your account using your forum details, and the hub looks to be within the specifications we would expect and there are no area issues.

I can see however that our systems have detected high levels of WiFi Interference within your home, this is causing a poor quality WiFi signal and is impacting multiple devices.

Can you confirm if the hub is out in the open and clear from electrical equipment?

To get the best out of the Hub 3 it is essential that only a single SSID or WiFi Network name is used for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi, can you confirm if both these connections are named the same?

Re: Intermittent connection - No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

Hi Alex,

Thanks for taking some time to look into my issue. How far should I put the Hub3 away from electrical equipement? I have a close Alexa device ...

I will rename the 5G SSID and try again and let you know if that works better.

Thanks.

Re: Intermittent connection - No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

I would recommend at least a 3 metre distance is possible 🙂

Keep me posted with how you get on 🙂
