Intermittent Wi-Fi

We have been experiencing intermittent Wi-Fi since we signed up to virgin fibre a few months ago, download speed is good when it works. We tried to solve the issue and one of the chat bots told us to factory reset the hub by holding in pin size button for 10seconds. However since then it’s even worse, no good signal at any time and 2.4ghz disappeared and won’t come back and booster won’t install. No one at virgin media was able to rectify it over the phone so have to await engineer. Any advice in the meantime appreciated.
